Pan is a  figure from Greek mythology, known as the god of the wild and shepherds. Often depicted as a half-human, half-goat creature, Pan embodied the untamed forces of nature. With his mischievous personality, he played enchanting melodies on his rustic pan flute, which charmed both gods and mortals alike, and nymphs such as on my painting.
